Unforgettable Night in Lincoln Hall with Chantal Joseph & Musicians

Saturday night’s concert with Pittsburgh’s hottest-on-demand vocalist and R&B Performer of the Year, CHANTAL JOSEPH and her band of Pittsburgh’s premier musicians was fabulous / great – a night of unforgettable entertainment – and a mutual LOVE-FEST between audience and performers – aka a REVIVAL MEETING.

And that’s not an exaggeration.

Like nothing ever seen in that hall was the response the Lincoln Hall audience to the soulful and rocking artistry of Chantal Joseph with her consummate musicians renowned jazz and funk bassist Dwayne Dolphin, film composer Daniel May on the Steinway and world traveled George Heid III on drums.

Chantal has it ALL – a gorgeous voice, multi-octave range, musicality and scatting, radiant personality and warm heart, beautiful inside-out – and she is a masterful entertainer!   Chantal led the audience in a sing-along to “Lovely Day” with her riffing.

She came off the stage, into the audience and down the aisle to sing and dance with the dancers at the back of the house.

The dancers created a train, dancing along the side aisle around the front and to the back and waving arms.

And there were lots of first-timers to Lincoln Hall last night – young, older young-of-hearts and lots in between… and they definitely will be BACK!

They were joined in a standing ovation by rest of the audience at the end of the concert – cheering these consummate artists, entertainers and beautiful human beings.

Truly a night to remember in Lincoln Hall – AND It was a TOTAL BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!

Chantal sang Happy Birthday to Linda Bradley who with her husband Michael sponsored Chantal’s concert for the third time – and then sang for Linda Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely” – presenting Linda with a bouquet of flowers and card and a big hug.

After the intermission, it was a turn-aroud – as Executive Director John Soroka led the audience singing Happy Birthday to CHANTAL whose Birthday is today – ALSO celebrating ARCA’s 20th Birthday season.

To everyone who wasn’t there – DO NOT MISS THEM WHEN THEY ARE BACK NEXT YEAR!! And reserve early – because the word it OUT – and that concert will sell out!

These are artists who have travelled the world and played with the best touring artists and legends – and they are the nicest people in the world… magnanimous BEINGS.  Fortunately for us, they have decided to live in Pittsburgh instead of New York City – because of the quality of life – and the people in our region and experiences like last night that you don’t have in mid-town Manhattan.

We are blessed that Foxburg is just up the river from the other ‘Burgh so we can bring these artists and this entertainment to Foxburg and our little hall to inspire, uplift and rock our SOULS in the midst of the beautiful PA countryside – with the support of our Members and donors that make it possible –

Our thanks to Michael and Linda Bradley for their very generous support of ARCA, sponsoring Chantal’s concert – and thanks to everyone whose generosity makes it possible for ARCA to present 20 concerts this season and feature the art of regional visual artists in the Red Brick Gallery.

And special thanks to you, our audience, who are participants in creating these unforgettable musical experiences in the intimacy of Lincoln Hall.  We are all blessed
