Description
Become a Member of Allegheny RiverStone Center for the Arts in 2021
The past year was filled with numerous challenges, unprecedented in number and severity in modern times. It is our sincere hope that you have safely weathered these storms and remain in good health and spirits. The importance of food for the soul, in both a religious and artistic sense, was made especially poignant during the year’s long periods of isolation from family and friends. Even the connectivity offered through technology could not replace the fulfilling experiences of live, in-person gatherings, which have enriched us every day of our lives.
In the face of these challenges, the generous support of ARCA’s Members and Donors was unwavering. Sincere thanks to each of you for your continuing devotion! It stands as a vivid testimony for the value that you – our ARCA Member Family – place on this grand vision begun fifteen years ago. With your continuing support we will keep that dream alive.
In 2020, concerts were presented safely and the Red Brick Gallery reopened under COVID guidelines and mitigation. Thank you for your cooperation adhering to the recommended safety protocols, which will need to be continued until further notice to allow us to gather and fill Lincoln Hall to 50% capacity. Last fall, someone attended an ARCA concert saying it was their first time out in the public during COVID; they shared that they felt completely safe in Lincoln Hall because of patrons’ adherence to ARCA’s COVID mitigation protocols.
In 2021, ARCA will continue to present concerts in compliance with Pennsylvania COVID guidelines including temperature checking at the door and mask wearing in socially distanced seating at 50% of capacity. The season will offer a blend of new faces and old friends, including artists re-scheduled from COVID last year.
It’s a wonderful time to be a part of the Membership Family in 2021 as ARCA celebrates fifteen years of concerts. This bold cultural adventure, bringing glorious music and art to the beautiful Allegheny-Clarion River Valley, continues to be possible only because of the support of ARCA’s loyal and generous Members and Donors. We thank you for your support in the past and invite you to be a part of this year’s exciting festivities.
Once again your ARCA membership will give you discount pricing for events right here in the Valley that otherwise would only be available in larger cities at higher ticket prices (not to mention travel and parking). But as our ARCA family knows, it’s much more than that. ARCA is a place for you to come with your family and socialize with your friends and make new friends – at concerts, our annual Membership picnic, special donors events and at the very popular Meet the Artist and post-concert receptions at the Red Brick Gallery.
The 2021 season promises to be more dynamic than ever with innovative programming, premieres of celebrated new artists, the return of audience favorites, inspiring teaching artists in the schools and glorious new art exhibits and musical happenings at the Red Brick Gallery and Gift Shop.
This year the Red Brick Gallery and Gift Shop promises another enticing year of exhibits by both visiting artists and ARCA’s award-winning resident cooperative artists members.
Current members of the Red Brick Gallery Artist Cooperative are Mark DeWalt, Donna Edmonds, Blanche Hall, Angela Taylor Hardwick, Andy Johnson Nick J. Karellas, Dennis Keyes, Jason Floyd Lewis, and Cathy and Jack Trzeciak. With your help in 2021, Red Brick Gallery exhibits and Gift Shop offerings promise to delight and inspire, continuing their high standard of excellence.
Because ticket sales cover only a fraction of the cost of events that it presents, ARCA relies on financial support from businesses, foundations, government agencies, and most importantly, individuals like you to make up the difference. Your gift is greatly appreciated, and helps make ARCA a vibrant contributor to the culture and sense of community of this region.
ARCA’s Board of Directors maintains prudent oversight of all donated income and seriously values that their fiduciary responsibility is a bond of trust between you and the organization. As demonstrated over the years, you can have faith in that tradition continuing.
Thank you for all you have done and given to ARCA as Members and volunteers over the years. We invite you to renew your Membership and hope you will please consider increasing your gift in 2021. Together, we will sustain ARCA’s legacy for the future, enriching lives and expanding hearts and minds through the power of music and art.
