Backtrack Vocals Dazzles Sold Out Audience in “Ring in the Holidays”

Back by popular demand after dazzling ARCA’s Lincoln Hall audience last season and enthralling A-C Valley students in the Schools, the SOLD OUT audience on Sunday, November 23 for Backtrack Vocals jumped to their feet in a standing ovation after their concluding “Celebration” medley.

Appreciating their close harmony, choreography, heart, humor and brilliant original arrangements of popular and traditional holiday songs from their Christmas CD…

Plus their classical mashup Beethoven medley – the audience was dazzled by their fun and delightfully eclectic program to “RING IN THE HOLIDAYS!

It was a family audience with lots of Littles – from tots and teens to parents and grands and including a very happy baby in a travel crib! Numerous A-C Valley students were back with parents – including two who, according to a parent, “hadn’t stopped talking about Backtrack.”

This audience was ALL IN as the group engaged them throughout the concert – from shaking their keys as ‘bells” accompanying “Silver Bells” to waving arms to accompany Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.”

After the nationally acclaimed beatboxer Michael Crisol, “Dr Brick”, had thrilled the audience demonstrating his phenomenal skills, he engaged the audience in a beatboxing tutorial – and an enthusiastic teen volunteered to come up on stage and show her burgeoning skills!

This dazzling, world-traveled NYC-based group has 14 million YouTube views and 115,000 subscribers for their extraordinary music videos that rival anything more professionally produced on the internet – and if you haven’t seen their recent “Ghostbusters” Halloween video, give yourself a treat – and subscribe to their channel.

During the opening reception for the Red Brick Gallery 2025 Holiday Art Exhibit featuring artisan-crafted one-of-a-kind gifts created by its 17 cooperative artists, Backtrack Vocals serenaded the exhibiting artists who hadn’t been able to attend the concert with a musical teaser from the concert, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.”

They definitely will be back – as audience members were requesting it on the way out the door – for a return engagement with more of their delightfully vast repertoire – so you can enjoy them as well if you’ve missed them so far!

It was a joyous afternoon of entertainment and vocal artistry from these superb musicians and radiantly warm human beings… shining with generosity and kindness and their love of music and humanity – reminding us that we have so much for which to be grateful. A wonderful way to begin the Holidays!
