Spectacular TAKE3 Trio Enthralls Lincoln Hall Audience

The spectacular TAKE3 trio had Lincoln Hall’s capacity audience enthralled by its Sunday afternoon, December 7 concert and on its feet for TWO standing ovations for their joyous and touching Christmas program combined with treasures of “Where Rock Meets Bach” – clamoring for MORE of the classical flair of their conservatory trained virtuosity combined with Rock Star Charisma!

From the rocking and toe tapping “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” and tear-bringing “Hallelujah”of Leonard Cohen and Amazing Grace with Bach intro — to the dazzling John Williams and Nutcracker Suite mashups – this was world-stage phenomenal artistry in the intimacy of Lincoln Hall with warmth and humor and electric pizazz!

Their heart-filled, thrilling world-class entertainment had their audience begging for more and, as they were leaving, imploring, “please bring them back next year” so I can bring my granddaughter… friends… parents… and “Have them bring their new Abba program” – which they had announced from stage.

Beloved of audience members who come every year – and can’t wait for next year – after the concert the group took photos with children and families attending – and audience members still in the musical glow of their artistry. Sincere thanks to Red Brick Gallery founder Donna Edmonds and her husband Larry for sponsoring the return of TAKE3 for the fourth time!

Heart, spirit and musical genius emanate from these three profoundly talented performers – Lindsay Deutsch violin, Ting Ruoting piano, and Georgia Bourderionnet cello – reminding us of what a gift it is to be a human being. And that is the best of what music can do to uplift and inspire – and what the Holidays are all about!

TAKE3 trio brought the audience to their feet twice for standing ovations – a second time for their encore – an arrangement of The Nutcracker.

And at intermission, ARCA founding Board member and curator of ARCA’s painted backdrop, Andor Paposi Jobb donated a priceless painting on slate of the Foxburg Free Library to be auctioned off in the future to raise money to support ARCA’s programs. He asked the audience to become Members and support ARCA.

If you missed them this year, watch for ARCA’s 2026 season announcement and reserve early for their return with their new ABBA show in the fall.
