What a golden afternoon and magical evening on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at RiverStone Estate for ARCA’s thank you reception for its major donors on the actual weekend of the first concert in Lincoln Hall 20 years ago.
It was a joyous celebration as ARCA’s funders and long-time friends were sumptuously hosted by Saji and Shannon Daniels in the home they purchased from ARCA’s late founder and President (19 years) Dr. Arthur Steffee… where many in attendance had gathered in the past for ARCA acknowledgment receptions.
Executive Director John Soroka expressed gratitude for Arthur and Patricia Steffee who had begun entertaining at their dinner table at RiverStone 20 years ago and inviting people to attend an ARCA concert and become a supporter. Arthur and Marybeth Hinds Steffee had graciously entertained this group of ARCA supporters for two years prior at their StoneRidge Home. John Soroka thanked Saji and Shannon Daniel and Cindy and Lou Keppler for generously hosting the Platinum donor event at the RiverStone mansion in elegant and lavish style.
Thanks were given to all who had brought ARCA to this moment – Founders, ARCA Board members, volunteers, Red Brick Gallery’s founder Donna Edmonds and RBG cooperative artists. Especial thanks were given to the Daniels for continuing the legacy of the Steffees – as ARCA moves on to its next 20 years of glorious music and art in Foxburg in the beautiful Allegheny River Valley.
CATRO’s @Mark DeWalt. Tammi Dahl and Dave Kana provided background music throughout the evening and closed with the touching “What a Wonderful World”.
The golden glow of the autumn afternoon with summer temperatures was enjoyed by all.
A grand time was had by everyone.
The patio at sunset was beautiful – and cat-tails tempting for the youngest guest. The gazebo was a romantic spot for a dance with the music wafting across from the mansion.
The magic of the night with the moon and fire pits aglow was unforgettable.
