Allegheny RiverStone Center for the Arts is delighted to bring to its classical piano loving audience on Sunday, November 15 at 2 PM in Lincoln Hall the profoundly gifted 11-year-old piano prodigy, AMELIA LY.
Amazing audiences around the world with her virtuosity and emotional nuance since she was six years of age, in January 2026 Amelia Ly made her debut with the National Philharmonic of Ukraine performing the Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 2. under the baton of Maestro Theodore Kuchar, marking her Eastern European orchestral debut.

Featured by ABC News and NPR News, Amelia has been first-place winner in numerous international piano competitions and her performances have illuminated some of the world’s most iconic stages.
She has performed in Vienna’s Musikverein, London’s Royal Albert Hall, Paris Philharmonic’s Amphitheatre, Beethoven House in Bonn, and New York City’s Carnegie Hall, where she has already appeared five times.

About Amelia Ly
Amelia Ly’s whose musical journey began at age four in Peoria, Illinois is currently residing in Nashville, Tennessee. Her early foundation was shaped under Prof. Anna Nogaj, former dean of Bradley University’s Piano Preparatory School, and her daughter, Aneta Youngblood.
In 2022, Amelia began studying with Dr. Craig Nies, a distinguished professor at Nashvilles Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music and former student of the renowned pianist Mieczysław Horszowski at the Curtis Institute of Music—connecting Amelia to a musical lineage extending from Beethoven to Czerny to Chopin.

In 2023, Amelia performed with at Rachmaninoff’s 150th Birthday Celebration Concert, inaugurating Vanderbilt University’s Sesquicentennial celebrations, and returned in March 2025 for Ravel’s 150th Celebration Concert.
In November 2024, she made her fifth Carnegie Hall appearance, performing with Orchestra Manhattan under Maestro David Wroe, a partnership that led to her featured appearance at the New Jersey Festival Orchestra’s 2025 Annual Gala.

Starting in 2026, she will collaborate with Maestro Gerard Schwarz in multiple appearances for all Beethoven programs at major performance centers, and she will join legendary pianist Dickran Atamian for Mozart in Harmony: A Journey Across Generations, performing Mozart’s Double Piano Concerto at major domestic and international venues.
Deeply committed to community services, Amelia has volunteered at retirement communities since early childhood. Her outreach includes homes in the Peoria area as well as Richland Place and The Heritage at Brentwood in Nashville, where she performs solo recitals and holiday programs. She has additionally appeared at Ignite Peoria, OSF Healthcare, Peoria Women’s Club, Dream Center Peoria fundraisers, and other community events. In 2021, she gave her first ticketed solo recital at the Betty Jayne Brimmer Center for the Performing Arts.

In her spare time, Amelia is an avid reader and enjoys dancing, drawing, swimming, and singing while fiddling with her ukulele and guitar, and being part of the school choir, but the piano has remained the most precious heritage she cherishes.
Amelia takes part in her public-school gifted program and is accepted into the Vanderbilt University Program for Talented Youth SAVVY program and American Mensa Club in 2021.
With a luminous future ahead, Amelia Ly continues to weave her story through melodies, embodying the timeless beauty of music and the boundless spirit of artistry.
