Celebrate the Season in charming and historic Foxburg village with its glittering lights and colorful Christmas decorations – as you enjoy shopping locally at the Red Brick Gallery and Gift Shop for one-of-a-kind gifts for your friends and family.
ARCA’s RBG is the region’s premier destination for the exhibition and sale of contemporary art, craft and design in Western Pennsylvania. The Annual Holiday Art Show & Exhibit will span six weekends from Friday, November 15 to Sunday December 22, on two floors of the RBG at 17 Main Street, Foxburg.
You will find unique, artisan quality hand-made gifts for those special people on your list – created by Red Brick Gallery Cooperative Member Artists – in a variety of media including sterling silver, gemstone, and costume jewelry; hand woven scarves, rugs and placemats; hand-turned bowls and vases, as well as rustic cutting boards and wooden tables; pottery; wearable art and handknit children’s dresses; hand-made baskets; oil and watercolor paintings, pencil drawings, fine art photography, and greeting cards. There will be something for everyone on your holiday list, and maybe even a few items for yourself!
The annual exhibit will showcase an expanded selection of new works and some on a holiday theme from the members of the cooperative, including Karin Arnds, Taylor Banner, Chris Bauer, Joanne Crosbie, Mark DeWalt, Donna Edmonds, Angela Taylor Hardwick, Ann Harting, Kathy Hogg, Dennis Keyes, Jason Floyd Lewis, Karen Mortland, Nissa Rappoport, Linda Thompson and Cathy & Jack Trzeciak.
The opening wine and cheese reception for the Holiday Art Show will be on Sunday, November 24 from 4 to 6 PM following ARCA’s Lincoln Hall concert at 2 PM featuring the dazzling virtuosity of stunning, world-traveled SVETLANA SMOLINA in a Classical Piano POPS program.
The program of popular favorites will include the Nutcracker Suite, Blue Danube, John Williams “Scent of a Woman” Tango, George Gershwin “The Man I Love” and Georges Bizet’s Carmen Variations – PLUS a Chopin Ballade, Waltz and Polonaise and MORE. Visit Foxburg during this season, glittering with Christmas decorations and shop locally for one-of-a-kind gifts for those special people on your list. during the Red Brick Gallery and Gift Shop Annual Holiday Art Show & Exhibit will span over six weekends from Friday, November 15th to Sunday December 22nd.
